Susanne is now employed at the Centre for Languages and Literature at Lund University as a researcher in the project SIMULEKT (Simulation of Swedish prosodic dialect types, supported by VR), where she works with prosodic analysis of regional varieties of Swedish using various speech databases, and has developed a research tool for synthesis of prosody. She is also working as an it-pedagogue in the Lund University Humanities Laboratory, where she is in charge of the phonetic equipment, including the anechoic chamber and the articulograph. Since October 2008, she is also involved in a project coordinated by Anders Eriksson at the Department of Linguistics, University of Göteborg called SweDat (SweDia 2000 – A Swedish dialect database), where she is responsible for the cooperation with the Humanities Lab in Lund to further develop the infrastructure of the SweDia 2000 speech database
